It doesn’t get any easier to participate in a writers conference than sitting at home in your jamies and sipping your favorite drink. Plus, what could be better than free!
The first is the WriteOnCon Children’s writers conference. Agent panels and lectures are presented as blogs, vlogs, moderated chats, webinars, podcasts, and livestreaming. There is also a critique forum, where you can post query letters and writing samples to receive feedback from industry professionals. The dates are Tuesday – Thursday, August 16 – 18. The second is the Savvy Authors SUMMER SYMPOSIUM. There are so many mini-workshops, chats, webinars and a pitching session too many to list. It’s incredible! I've signed up for practically everything. The dates are August 24 – August 28 and it’s free for all premium members. By the way, it’s well worth the membership fee. It’s a steal!
